There is an updated version of cPremote is available. We have fixed some security bugs probably related with chown and multiple race conditions.

Note: There is also a limited race condition available still , which is related with the rsync on a particular time in the middle of backup process. This will be investigated and fixed in the future version after getting an update from rsync developers.
How can we force an update? I suggest that cpremote checks for updates daily instead of weekly.
How to upgrade? I tried:
sh /etc/cron.weekly/updatecpremote.sh
…but it updated to 7.2.
